What is it about?

This is a three hour workshop specifically designed for building confidence so that those who have had to deal with the trauma of being diagnosed with cancer are better prepared. Those attending will also have the option of having their character profiled because we are investigating the character profile of cancer patients with the aim of further enhancing the lives of patients.

How does it work?

Confidence is a skill, it is something we can all learn to develop and grow. This event provides the recipe for that skill. So that those attending walk away feeling far more confident and having the recipe to further build on that confidence.

Character profiling element is based on Carl Jung’s work and MBTI (subsequent evaluation technique developed upon Carl Jung’s work). It is a series of simple questions which has you consider what your preferences are.

Who is the speaker?

Seven Suphi is a Behavioural Change Specialist and is the person who helped Sue Perkins build her confidence and win BBC Maestro. Seven evaluates character profiles as part of her everyday work. Having had three close members of her family be diagnosed with cancer and seeing the patterns in their character Seven is keen to find if these similar characters extrapolate beyond the family; and to discover if there is a pattern in the character profile of cancer patients in general.

This is important because if there is a pattern then this will have major implications to treatment as well as in building the internal resilience, confidence, of patients as well as those who are ‘at risk’ of being.
